About Me

Witcharia formed during the early spring of 2006 by myself The Peacock Angel (ex-Kadaver Synod), Later to be joined by Jon Sic. Initially as a studio project. We set to work with the purpose of creating our own variety of Ambient and Syphonic Pagan Metal and bringing it home to the UK. With the recent departure of Jon Sic and the addition of drummer Goat Lord and Guitarist Sarah Wraight , things have moved on to the next level, recent rehersals have gone well and new material is currently being developed, which we will hope to bring you in the near future.
Writing and recording with themes taken from Pagan, historical, mythological, religious and philosophical contexts. With the desire to write lyrics taken from genuine situations Witcharia itself forms a philosophical statement.
Working closely with other Black metal bands such as Kadaver Synod and the awsome lo-fi Death of a Warlord a strong scene has began to develope around us. To further this end we have recently helped in the recording of Death of a Warlords new material.
