I'm a poker player from Oklahoma City. I started playing several years ago
during a home game that we would play for pocket change. After many months, I
started to beat the game on a regular basis and then started playing online. It
wasn't until then I realized that I developed an edge over many players and
started taking poker more seriously. A year later, Oklahoma expanded our state's
gambling laws and introduced poker rooms into our the state's casino industry.
It was then that Oklahomapoker.net was born.
Our vision with Oklahomapoker.net from the very beginning was to create a
website that celebrates our state's poker scene. I was tired of not being able
to find any information online regarding poker room information or tournament
schedules for the state of Oklahoma. That motivated me and gave me the idea for
this website.
This site features our state's local card room information and tournament
schedules as well as Oklahoma poker news and forums for member interaction. We
also host a private tournament every Wednesday night on Poker Stars @ 8pm (CST).
