We all know the atomic bomb is dangerous. It can burn whole buildings, if someone is careless.

About Me

I was raised on TV and video games, although I didn't learn about these things in a structured environment early on. A lot of my tech-related knowledge is ad hoc at best.
I have completed a graduate course of study in Architecture. This degree enables me to register as an Architect, and teach if I want.
Yay quizzes....
My religious inclinations:
You scored as Buddhism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already. In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.

My Interests

Urban planning/studies are where it's at, for me. History is fascinating, especially to me as archaeology.

I don't watch movies that often.

I play guitar, occasionally, and I've been known to paint.

Also, games.

I'd like to meet:

There are things I like to learn about, but I haven't singled out persons I'd really like to meet, per se. Saint Francis, maybe. Charlie Babbage. David MaCaulay.

Seems to me that meeting people is ultimately so random that it's almost vain to maintain criteria for this, beyond the norm. However, I like pragmatic, thoughtful, creative, witty, unpretentious people. I suppose that's how I might begin to characterize myself.

Music:

A lingering appreciation for Pearl Jam and their Seattle bretheren, but some other great stuff has come to my attention: Rollins, Tortoise and Yo La Tengo, Massive Attack, Nick Cave, Sufjan Stevens. I've had a weird thing for jazz music and the blues for a long time. I used to listen to Ministry and NIN, during "that" phase of my life.

Thumbing My Way-Pearl Jam
Someone posted a comment at YouTube for this video, expressing their conviction that this song be played at their funeral.

Couldn't agree more, although I see other venues where it might apply ...
