Sports and Music have always been huge interests of mine. I've played soccer, basketball, baseball, wrestling, Track (Pole Vault!), Cross country and most importantly, Ultimate Frisbee. I played Ultimate in college (Go SMUT!) and still play for club teams around DC and B-more. I also enjoy extreme sports liek snowboarding, and am itching to skydive/bungee jump.Aside from those things, I love movies. My bro and I have become quite the "siskel and ebert" of the big screen, only we are witty and make even bad movies worth watching. Think Mystery Science Theater 3000, only we aren't robots. The best are quotables like Office Space, Half Baked, Dumb & Dumber, Big Lebowski, Ladies Man, Napolean Dynamite and anything Simpsons or Family Guy and a list of other stuff.I collect Pez dispensers. I have 300+ of them. It started as a bet, and I have spent over $2000 on my collection in its current form. Yes, I am a dork.I'm a Psych nerd, so I like to attempt to understand people and what makes them tick. It can be fun just watching people as they interact (I'm more of a social psychologist), even if its like the one time I watched a guy trip his buddy, leaving the falling friend to bounce his face off the boardwalk. good times. At any rate, I like people and learning about new people, cultures, ways of living and the like.
Interesting people.
I'm quite fond of music. I have it playing all the time, and find theres a different type of music that suits any occassion, emotion or situation. That said, I have been Music Director at my school radio station, and DJ from time to time. On the ones and twos, I play a lot more hip-hop and jazz-hop types of laid back stuff. But, for a short list of my eclectic taste, here's a samplin:Pennywise, Beastie Boys, 311, Thievery Corporation, The Roots, Blackalicious, Dilated Peoples, J5, Biggy, Johnny Cash, Wu-tang Clan, Flaming Lips, Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Buju Banton, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beach Boys, Miles Davis, MOtley Crue, Poison, GnR, Hendrix, Incubus, Foo Fighters and the list goes on and on and on.......oh and wesley willis too.
Dumb & Dumber, Half Baked, Dodgeball, Billy Madison, Super Troopers, Family Guy, Simpsons, Big Lebowski, Office Space, Old School, Napolean Dynamite, Kill Bill 1 & 2, Goodfellas, Scarface, Vanilla Sky and other Psych oriented flicks, Matrix, Gladiator, Pulp Fiction (or anything Tarantino) and others.
Simpsons, Family Guy. History Channel, occasional documentaries and nerdy stuff too.
Anything Psych (especially Freud and Jung), Philosphy too (Nitsche, Kamu and other jazz), E.A. Poe, books on bands or musicians (just read johnny cash biography).
Disco Stu, he doesnt advertise. Also, Duffman, because he says a lot of things- OOOOH YEAAA. Snoop- that is one fly mo'fo. My fam, each one has their own thing, Johnny Cash, and lots of people I have come to meet over the years who have imparted some form of wisdom to me.
