I'm interested in making me the best person that I can be to be able to live my life to it's fullest. My general interests include napping, helping others, sports and watching t.v.
I like to meet people that are up for having a good time. As far as a relationship goes, I would love to meet someone that is able to deal with an independent and secure female. I have found this to be a great challenge. I guess what I'm looking for is someone that is secure with himself, has a career, a great personality, is into sports (not just computer gaming), is athletic, likes to travel and try new adventures, has respect for themselves and others, shares my interests, and lets me be me. Let me explain--I enjoy doing things and going places together, but I also need "me time". I also appreciate honesty. It takes too much time and effort to play games. Basically, I'm looking for someone to enjoy new experiences with, to grow with, and to help me to become a better person.
I have a great appreciation of music, as that is one of the few things that I enjoy for relaxation. I have a pretty broad mix of likes. I'll listen to just about anything--pop, country, classic rock, classical, just depends on the mood.
As a kid I would say anything scary. Loved the Nightmare on Elm Streets. I like Shawshank Redemption, Friday Night Lights, Slingblade, and of course the classic chick flicks like Sixteen Candels, Dirty Dancing and The Notebook. I seem to catch the reruns whenever they are on.
Some would say I watch too much t.v. However, I disagree. I watch all the Law and Orders, ER, Crossing Jordan, home improvement shows, car racing (nascar, and world of outlaws on the outdoor channel!), and of course SPEED and ESPN.
I don't really like to read much. Spent a lot of years reading text books. But, I do enjoy James Patterson books. I think it's because the chapters are so short so you feel like you are reading really fast. I also have read a few Nicholas Sparks.
My greatest hero is my mom. She instilled the values of honesty and committment in me from a young age. She lead by example and showed me how to face challenges and adversity with courage, just like she faced her greatest until the end. My dad is a close second, as he became a single parent and raised 3 sucessful children. Teachers are also on my list. They provide such fundamental support and guidance for children in their most impressionable years.
