About Me

Ughh! So, what am I doing? you ask. I have no idea. I've had to leave law school and am going back home which is disappointing, but I will get to be with my mom and my amazing nephew who is growing up while I've been away. Don't worry, though, I will finish law school cause I am made to be a lawyer.All around me, my friends are getting married & having kids and I still never date. I went to Europe for the first time last summer and could really live there for the rest of my life. If you don't know me, I'm both outgoining AND painfully shy, depending on the circumstances; but once I get going on a topic it is hard to shut me up. I love to read, both for school & for fun, and I spend way too much time dreaming. Sometimes I am afraid to live, but I'm working on it. I want to make a difference in someone's life; being an aunt is the best thing in the world, even if I never see my nephew. I love my friends, all of them, even when they annoy me or we get too busy for each other and we never see each other. If I did not have to worry about money, I would be a photographer; I am actually pretty good at it and want to get better. I am obsessed with mid century modern furniture, traditional gives me the willies. I try to learn something new everyday, even if its boring or stupid. And, I love great conversations that turn into thrilling arguments.

Music:

I love music and I fear if I try to list my favorites I will leave something important out, thus providing you, my reader, with an incomplete picture. So, the easiest thing I can think of is to say I can find something I like in almost any genre except country and rap.

Movies:

Dirty Dancing, Grease, Pulp Fiction, Center Stage, Anne of Green Gables, Aladdin, Cinderella, Indiana Jones, Chasing Amy (and just about every other Kevin Smith movie), Legally Blonde, Goonies, Breakfast Club, Funny Face, The Crow, Sliding Doors, Star Wars (the original 3, don't even ask about the newer ones), The Sting, Superman,

Television:

West Wing, Gilmore Girls, Law and Order, CSI, Crossing Jordan, Meet the Press, Veronica Mars, South Park, My Super Sweet Sixteen (I know, I know, it's a guilty pleasure) House Hunters, Numbers, The Food Network (So that when I fail out of law school I will have something to fall back on)

Books:

Fiction, especially trashy romances and crime novels. I'm trying to read the "classics" but I'm finding I don't have the attention span to do most of them justice, but I keep trying.

What a profession I'm getting into

Being in law school, we read a lot of crazy cases and hear a lot about stupid attorneys or crazy defendants. This one takes the cake - a drunk juror. Gotta love it....
