The sweetest things in life are expensive

About Me

Hey y'all. I'm 18 and just graduated from Southwestern Academy. I moved to Michigan about 6 months ago from Tennesee, and before that I lived in Arkansas and Florida. In the fall I'm starting at Mott for culinary arts and hopefully someday I'll be a famous chef making beaucoup bucks somewhere really exotic! I work at Bob Evans right now as a hostess, and when I'm not working, I like hanging out with my friends and partying. I love the beach, fishing, canoing, and things like that in the summer. I am also a huge bookworm and a shopaholic. I love to meet new people and to go new places.

My Interests

I love to party and hang out with my friends. I like to stay busy; go to the beach in the summer and have bonnfires when it's cold out, things like that. I LOVE to shop, and do it probably more than I should. I also like to read good books, listen to music, and meet new people. I love to travel, and my dream is to learn French and go to Paris for a while.

I'd like to meet:

Chris Brown & Vinci from 8th & Ocean; they're sooo sexxxy!!

Music:

I like pretty much all types of music; except country. I like hip-hop, R&B, classic rock, soft rock, pop etc...

Movies:

I love older classics like Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Pretty Woman, Sixteen Candles, Forest Gump, The Godfather, and Halloween. I love a good scary movie, and my new fav is The Excoricism of Emily Rose; that movie was sooo creepy! I also like comedies, and my all-time fav is Friday. I'm a big sci-fi geek, too; I love Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter. I hate movies that make me cry, with the exception of The Notebook.

Television:

I don't really watch that much TV, but I love Desperate Housewives. I also like Family Guy and Southpark. Other than that I pretty much just watch whatever catches my eye. I hate most reality TV and think they should do away with it. It's so fake.

Books:

I'm a huge bookworm! I've read all of Stephen King's books, most more than once. I also like the Lord of the Rings trilogies. Right now I'm working on the classics like the Chronicles of Narnia and Oliver Twist. I want to read Dante's Inferno, also. No matter how busy life gets, it's always nice to take time out and curl up with a good book.

Heroes:

I think the survivers of the Haulocost are heros. My great-grandparents were Polish jews who came over from Poland after the War, and even though my family is not Jewish anymore, I still keep in mind what they had to go through. We should use thier experience as a reminder that something like that could happen again, maybe to us. It should also stand to remind us that even though we have it good here in the US, everyone else might not, and it's important to care. The survivers of the Haulocost went through so much, and instead of breaking down they stood strong and made through. I think that's an important lesson to remember; no matter how hard life gets, just keep going and always remember who you are.
