if you left it up to me... everyday would be a holiday from real...

About Me

LOOK FOR A NEW ALBUM SOON... little old me
here's what you need to know:
i'm elise... i love this boy... we're getting married:
Fun stuff about me... maybe???
~ i like hippos
~ i chew on straws... i didn't think anyone noticed... that's a lie
~ i probably have the strangest tastes in music of anyone you've (n)ever met... and i'm okay with that
~ i just quit my job.
~ i like museums probably more than you like your mom. the more obscure the better
~ i have no temperature medium - i'm either freezing my ass off... or melting.
~ and yes, folks, it's true... i think too much for my own good.
THIS IS SOMETHING I DON'T UNDERSTAND:
If a pregnant woman is gunned down in the street, the perpetrator is tried for not one but two murders... therefore clarifying that the baby inside of her is indeed a person.
BUT, if a woman 'chooses' to let a doctor brutally murder her baby, it's okay, because it's her 'choice'...
SO... I can only conclude that through this logic, the defense in the first case could say that it was the killer's choice to kill the woman and the baby, and it should be okay, because an abortionist does the same thing every day... It doesn't really make sense...
...ABORTION KILLS...
I can't live without:
Mountain Dew
Sweetarts - simply the best candy ever - in ALL VARIETIES
Cheetos
Cheese
Seafood
Mega Pizza Rolls
White Castle
Water...
I'll eat almost anything with peanut butter
white chocolate covered strawberries are sweet...(well maybe just white chocolate in general... )
"we was beat when we was born"
"you fell victim to one of the classic blunders... the first is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this - never go in against a sicilian when death is on the line... ha ha you fool" - THE PRINCESS BRIDE
'all the envy in the world will never make you mine' - john maxfield/dream again
"excuses are the refuge of cowards" - s. morgenstern

My Interests

i like music and i like dan... they're the only consistent things in my life

i write my own music sometimes... i read... i bitch... it's a simple life philosophy...

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
Gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
Give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.

A Return to Love – Marianne Williamson

Hugh told me I'd make some guy really happy someday... i'm starting to think that those days are upon us.

And I'd like to meet Dustin Erhardt... he's a baller... and he says things like this:

It's the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us the freedom of the press.
It's the Soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Soldier, not the politicians
That ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
It's the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag.
