Attending his father's band rehersals and concerts sparked a phenominal talent that the young musician was born with. John told the inspirational story to his 1st son about a Backstage Conversation with one of the WHISPERS. He was at CrossRoad Between pursuing his career as a funk/soul Musician and R&B singer, or answer his true Calling as a Gospel Musician. The wise man told him to FOLLOW HIS HEART!!! AT age 25 John Moved to Lafayette to Become a Choir director and World Traveled musician!!! During his transition his wife was pregnant with their 1st child Brandon Lovell (named after the Whispers member!) Nezey.Better known to the SOUTH as MR PHAT!!!!27 Years Later the Legacy continues from one Musical Generation to the Next.
