O1LT.COM MUSIC REVIEW -CONRAD ST. JULIEN "REACHIN"!!! Who is Conrad St. Julien? He is a new R&B sensation that is blowing up in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Conrad is a breath of fresh air in world of R&B music. His new musical effort Reachin is seasoned with smooth rhythms, great songs, and an authentically great voice. Listening to Conrad St. Julien, you can feel his love of music bounce off the speakers. Songs like Name showcases Conrads vocal ability to carry a song while not straying from the roots of what R&B music is supposed to be. You can get sense of his musical exploration with rock enthused Selfish featuring Mr.Phat. Other songs like the title track Reachin shows Conrads versatility, allowing him to change it up, and make it hot. Private Place featuring Black Nicholson is an edgy up-tempo song that brings it to you hard yet smooth. Conrad has a sound that is reminiscent of R&B singers from the past, but he has created his own unique sound, that puts him in a league all his own. On Reachin you can hear the musical influences of R&B, Gospel, and Hip-Hop. You can tell that Conrad is an artist, and not just another singer. He is a songwriter that has something to say, and if you listen to songs like He Say She Say you will learn he has no problem saying it. His songs have substance, and they tell a story. If you take the time to listen he will make you understand.
