About Me

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !Raised and still practicing Jehovah's Witness. Moved from my native California in April of 2005. I now reside in a very small town called Macclenny, FL with my hubby of almost 9 years and my little girl who just turned 5. They are my life. Aside from that, I am still trying to make my new state my home. It isn't easy, and I often get homesick for California, but try to make the best out of it. I never thought a girl like me being born and raised in L.A. and Orange County, CA could ever move to a small town. But I tried it, and don't totally regret it. It's a little hard getting used to having to travel for over a half hour for entertainment, or just to go buy clothes. Hopefully that will become second nature for me. I just turned 31, so of course I am in this "what have I done with my life" phase, and trying to do some major and minor improvements. Music is really important to me. I love discovering new bands, collecting cd's, or playing my own music on guitar. That's about all. I'll add more if I can think of something.

My Interests

I think I listed a grip of them in my About Me section. But I enjoy my own little family. Watching Moira growing up. Playing my guitar as often as I can. Working out...and MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC!

The Picto-Personality Test

You are a person who is very calm and kind. You go out of your way to help people who need your help.

When alone, you are introspective. You constantly reflect on your life and the world.

You are laid back. Anything goes, with you.

In the future you will be highly imaginative and a creator.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to play guitar with Kim and Kelley Deal, the great Chrissie Hynde, and last but not least, Poison Ivy. Oh yeah, and if I ever get more into the bass, I'd like to meet, and learn from Mary Huff.I wouldn't mind meeting Eddie Izzard, either. He cracks me up, and not back to look at, if he's dressed like his own gender.

Music:

The 90's were my hayday, therefore I am stuck. I love it all....except for R&B, and Rap. I'll have to say the Pixies are probably my top artist. I caught two of their reunion shows last year! That was awesome! I'm mainly mellow, so I like mysterious/goth/sexy sounding music. Spacy lo-fi indie, shoegaze, dream pop and noise pop. Basically, anything that you could have a nice night drive to, sleep to, take a bath to, and get in the mood to. Aside from that, I like 80's alternative, just pure rock n' roll, rockabilly and swing.

You've been totally Bzoink*d

Movies:

Anything Tim Burton. Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Freaks, Wizard Of Oz, Walk The Line, Cinderella Man, The Steppford Wives (original), many others, but I don't feel like typing that much.

Television:

I Love Lucy will always be my favorite, as well as Little House on the Prairie. I also like Lost, Eli Stone, House MD, Bones, Little People Big World, Jon and Kate Plus 8. My sister got me into Who Wants To Be A Supermodel. That's fun to watch.

Books:

I really enjoyed reading Gone With The Wind. I have no say, it was the longest book I have ever read. I am in the middle of Wicked. It's a little drier than I thought it would be, but I am trying to go through it, so I can start my Mary Queen of Scots biography.

Heroes:

My long-suffering Grandma NaNa. I miss her.

My Blog

Who speaks Moira-nese?

I noticed I do not know how to blog.  I read all these other ones, and everyone has all these charming things on theirs.......while mine still sounds like a really dry news flash.  Maybe bec...

Urine Mints

Don't eat mints from a restaurant.  Too many people use the restroom after their meal, don't wash their hands (sick!), and get a mint or two as they're leaving.  So, their pee hands (or wors...
