The Horn are a live music band, we love live music; live breathe and eat the stuff. we know that deep down everyone understands it, and that music is best left unsanatised, diluted and sugar coated. We play regal blues riffs with pounding rhythmical patterns, a wailing harmonica and warm bluesy vocals. Aural Viagra for the soul.We formed in Feb 2005, after knowing each other for many years. We have managed to form a sound of our own, taking elements of the music we loved, and introducing new chords, ideas and patterns. Over the last 2 years our music has evolved and is easily recognisable from the mundane dross of the ordinary. We released our limited edition first EP in April 2006 self titled "THE HORN" which was recorded at The Studio On Denmark Street in London. In 2007 we have gone back into the studio to record a new EP, and this has a current running title of "Put one in the nest". Only the mixing left to do. The songs will be going online and available for download, so start saving your coppers. Big thanks go to Jeff2bad, Steeeeeeeevvvoooo and uncle Fester, for help with the projects so far.In 2006 we took some time out for a while, but we are blantantly back with some new ideas and sounds you are going to love, so if you haven’t seen us for a while, or you have never witnessed us playing live (Doh!), come along to one of the gigs listed on our space, I will be updating the listings regularly.
