A Child Called It -Dave Pelzer This was a book that my mum bought. I started reading it because I was so damn bored. This book is un-fucking-believable. I cried and cried and cried. This is one of my Top 3 fav books.

The Count of Monte Cristo -Alexandre Dumas I saw the movie before I read the book and I wish I hadn’t. The movie does NOT do this book justice. I love this kind of stuff

Vanity Fair -William Makepeace Thackeray I was made to read this in high school. Of course because it was required reading i wanted nothing at all to do with it. But the more I read the more of myself I saw in the main character (Becky). Not in the way that she is almost an anti- heroine, but I think she has no clue what she is doing even though she has a "Life Plan" so to speak. Anyway, I loved the book. And old mate Reese did a Fab job in the movie adaptation.

Lolita -Vladimir Nabokov I remember seeing this movie and going... "WTF is going on here… Oh... OH!". I was only young at the time. I kind of liked the movie but didn’t quite understand everything that was going on. My mum told me that this was a famous book or whatever so I gave it a go. Explained a lot... actually explained everything. heh.. Funny how a book would do that eh

Fight Club and Choke –Both books written By Chuck Palahniuk This guy (Chuck Palahniuk) right here, is the fucking MAN. Not many people know that Fight Club was a book long before it was a movie. I was one of these people until a friend filled me in. I loved Fight Club the book so much I read all of chucks other books. The only one that I think is just as good is Choke. If you don’t like reading but want to try to get into it then this is the book for you. Its a quick read and it has your attention as soon as you read the first sentence. Annnnnnd yeah, I'll stop crapping on now.

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret -Judy Blume My mum bought this book for my sister when she was young and I eventually ended up with it in my room. At the time I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. And any woman who read this when they were young will agree.. It WAS the coolest thing out.

The Bride Stripped Bare -Nikki Gemmell This book is a fucking masterpiece. Just fucking read the damn thing. READ IT. Oh and this plea goes out to women only. I don’t think guys would appreciate it... Heroes
