The members of Mindz-Eye all met in Deltona, Fl at Jimmy Emerson's house. He would have a get-together every other Saturday night nicknamed "Jimmypalooza". His band "Innerpiece" would play, which consisted of Jimmy on drums/vocals, Dave Ellwood on bass/vocals and Mike Metzger on lead guitar and various other musicians would get up and play both cover tunes and original music. Out of this spawned a band called "Tantrum" which was Dave Ellwood bass/vocals, Dale Keeling lead guitar/vocals and Mike Seasmoore on drums. Also to come from this was band called Swill which was Jimmy Emerson drums/vocals, Rob "Punk" Logan bass/vocals and Danny Carriero guitar/vocals.After a year of jammin and partying, "Mindz-Eye" was born.
