Clomas, BIGTIME!!

Hello, my name is Char ( learn more about me here ), and this is my annoying reel-to-reel tape manipulation project that I work on when I'm bored. I take old found-sound, sound effects and field recording tapes and dump them onto SoundForge and then procede to fuck them up beyond all recognition, layer it all together...Cook at 5,000 degrees kelvin for about a week and, PRESTO! The crap your hearing comes out.
My initial plan was to make VERY harsh and aggressive noise installations, but it turns out that while somewhat abrasive at times, it turned out fairly mellow and zoney for the most part...Huh...Go figure.
My friend and co-worker, Ken ( meet Ken here ), sometimes provides me with source material of him playing some of his homemade instruments, which I procede to mangle and destroy and layer it with other bullshit.
If the project name and the song titles sometimes don't make sense, don't worry. It's all based on several inside jokes that only about 5 people are privy to.
So if you like it, please let me know. If you don't, well let's just keep that to ourselves, O.K.
