I am an adorable, lovable, squeezable Newfoundland breed. My mom & dad named me after one of their favorite albums/songs by Roxy Music: Avalon. I am 4yrs old and weigh about 150lbs. I come from Posterpups Newfoundlands. Google my family, they are a neat bunch! I love, love the water and some day want to become a therapy dog of some sort. I am currently afraid of stairs and tend to have vertigo sometimes, so I don't know what kind of therapy dog i'd become. Jumping out of a helicopter doesn't sound appealing to me for water rescue. So I don't think I can do that. I am a gentle giant who loves my mom and dad and sisters and most of all I LOVE EVERYONE ELSE TOO! (Except mean people and people who want to hurt my family or anyone else!) I have a good sense of things and can sniff out the bad ones in a jiffy...so no funny stuff with me. I am my moms best friend and live my life for her. Oh my dad is right up there with her too. I love attention and live for walks around busy places so kids and people can notice me and come say hi and pet me.

So here they are:)....................................................... .........................................1.) What kind of dog am I: A Newfoundland......
2.) Is that a bear in a dog suit: No!......
3.) How much do I eat: 4 cups a day(i'll eat more if you let me, but it's bad for my hips to be too heavey)......
4.) How much do I weigh and how tall am I: 150 lbs and am 34in tall at shoulders (i'm a big boy)......
5.) Do I slobber a lot: Yes/sometimes (especially around food!)......
6.) How old will I get: 10yrs or so (sad isn't it)......
7.) Am I an indoor or outdoor dog: I am indoor...(I love my family way too much to be locked outside)......
8.) Do I love water: Yes (so much I can't stand it if I can't play)I have webbed feet and can dive and do the breast stroke!......
9.) Am I good with kids: Yes (crazy question, in the good old days i've been used as a Nanny...see Peter Pan) I am loyal as loyal could be!......
10.) Do I shed a lot: Yes (my owners eats and sleeps dog hair) I need to be brushed every day!......
11.) Do I need to be shaved in the summer: No (bad idea, my coat is meant to protect me from cold and heat)......
12.) What colors do I come in: black, black white(Landseer), grey, brown......
13.) Where did I come from: Poster Pups Newfoundlands, Silver Springs NV.......
14.) How big was I when I was a baby: At 8wks old I was
16 pnds. (bigger than a full grown cat)......
15.) Do I need a big yard/Do I need much excercise: No (i'm content doing whatever my mom wants to do)......
16.) Am I a good guard dog: Yes! and a smart one too! (I'm a good all around family dog)......
