The right man in the wrong place...

About Me

I try to follow Peter's Laws:
The Creed of the Sociopathic Obsessive Compusive
1. If anything can go wrong, Fix It! (To hell with Murphy!)
2. When given a choice - Take Both!
3. Multiple projects lead to multiple successes.
4. Start at the top then work your way up.
5. Do it by the book...but be the author!
6. When forced to compromise, ask for more.
7. If you can't beat them, join them, then beat them.
8. If it's worth doing, it's got to be done right now.
9. If you can't win, change the rules.
10. If you can't change the rules, then ignore them.
11. Perfection is not optional.
12. When faced without a challenge, make one.
13. "No" simply means begin again at one level higher.
14. Don't walk when you can run.
15. Bureaucracy is a challenge to be conquered with a righteous attitude, a tolerance for stupidity, and a bulldozer when necessary.
16. When in doubt: THINK! (or flip a coin)
17. Patience is a virtue, but persistence to the point of success is a blessing.
18. The squeaky wheel gets replaced.
19. The faster you move, the slower time passes, the longer you live.

Photography, Martial Arts, Jerkcity, Guns, Drum Circles, Making Music & Things

I'd like to meet:

I'm here to keep in touch with friends and people I've worked with as well as meet new interesting, creative, and motivated (i.e. people who DO things, rather than just chat about it on the internet) people with common interests and goals.

I'm always on the lookout for session players - the closer you are to N. Long Beach the better. Right now I'm looking for more local musicians in the following areas: exceptional drummers (able to play good double bass), keyboard / piano players, synthesizer/electronica specialists, all brass instruments (including saxophone), woodwinds, cello, viola and vocalists of all styles.

Usually, I only add people that I know. If you'd like to get to know me, please send me a message. I'm fairly friendly most of the time. If you want to add me and I don't already know you, and you don't want to know me, please try adding me here . If you've met me and want to add me but don't know my last name or email addy, drop me a message and I'll add you.

The End

Well, I've finally received the last bit of discouragement I needed to quit photography for good.  I'm gonna have to find a new hobby I guess.

Las Vegas

Well, I just had the time of my life in Las Vegas.  It was definitely a much needed vacation, and a far greater experience than I had expected, or could have imagined it would be.  Stark Rav...

Pruning my friends list.

I've been pretty down lately, in need of some encouragement or something.  Maybe down isn't the word - sometimes I just start to feel like... what the hell am I still doing here on this earth?&nb...

Taking boy kitty to the vet.

I don't have a whole lot of money to spend on stray kitties, but Wendy had called around and found a local public vet place that was only $12 for a walk-in visit, $8 for a de-worming treatment and ano...

Tha G is bak in da hood

I just noticed that since I haven't written in a while, and with the way I left things in my last journal entry, some of you might have concluded that I was devoured by a swarm of vengeful killer bees...
