mountain climbing, bike riding, running, snowshoeing, winter camping (to the great dismay of my man), weight lifting, eating healthy, watching reality tv marathons after a hard day/night of playing (the only time i indulge in this guilty pleasure), pretty jewelry and pretty people, kids, getting in a good argument, and reading, reading, reading
anybody that's different from me. i love people (even the annoying ones) because everyone has at least one cool thing they can teach you. i dig listening to other's stories and experiences.
i love all music. i exercise to tech nine, relax to every version of folk, study to classical, and sing really loudly to country. as long as its not that cheesy yanni-esque new age crap then i'm down to get to know a new genre/group/individual. i do love me some mean acoustic though.
i like a lot of noise and awesome special effects and if those two things are coupled with a pessimistic wiseass super hero with a dry sense of humor that can save the day in just enough time to lead up to the possibility of a sequal then that movie will probably be my next movie-of-the-minute. possible movie-of-the-hour status if he can do it all while reading a good book and keeping to a strict 90 minute time limit. movie-of-the-day status if he can do it without too many nasty words!
law and order - all of them...even law and order criminal intent because it got better when they introduced the two new detectives, documentaries, csi and csi miami, but not that new csi, ny. they impose too much information on me about the character's personal lives. i tune in to watch a crime, investigation, and kick butt capture, not so i know what stella is going to do about her psycho ex-boyfriend. if i wanted something like that i'd just turn on the soap network! that's what killed nypd blue!
you name it, i love it. i have an eclectically large book collection. everyday i try to make it bigger. my goal is to someday own my own three story library complete with mandatory ladder, matching overstuffed, extra large arm chairs, and a good ol' fashioned fire place!
strong women...and strength comes in all shapes and sizes. you're not strong just because you're loud and you fight, or hold some fancy title in a big name company. you don't need a degree - although i encourage everyone to get one...ignorance is so unbecoming. you do need to have an opinion and a passion, and it doesn't have to match mine. you just have to fight for it, whatever it may be. strength is not being able to settle for mediocrity.
