Right, time to get up to speed with this thing!
Im Dave, i live, sleep, sweat, bleed and breath music and guitars...especially of the the loud n proud variety!I used to be in a band called Headrush, we did quite well, played lots of gigs, got in some magazines, and got some decent radio airplay on both sides of the atlantic! It was fun whilst it lasted and I met some great people along the way (some famous and some not so famous, but people are people right?) The band split up for various reasons and Im happy to say that we bowed out gracefully. Im currentley very happy biding my time setting up another band (watch this space!) that will get my blood boiling and make me feel like i can take on the world...again! Being on stage playing my guitar very loudly and performing infront of a blood thirsty audience is the best feeling in the world...some people say its better than sex, but if it is then they're obviously doing something wrong LOL!!!!! I spend my time working in a music shop which is awesome because allday long i get to be around, fix, re-string, clean and best of all PLAY GUITARS! I love it! i own 6 guitars at the minute but you can never have enough! If im not busy sorting out 'band stuff' writing new music or just 'rippin'' up my guitar, then i try to find as much time as possible to chill with the people i love (you know who you are)! i also love to get tattoos and live by the rule of taking each day as it comes...if you plan too much or look too far ahead, you might get dissapointed, but if you want something bad enough go and get it, dont wait till tomorrow cuz no one's gonna just hand you your dreams on a plate! This life aint no dress rehersal god damn it!
