About Me

True confession: I UNDER-stated my age just a bit in the profile. I LOOK and FEEL as young as 28, but I've been around a little longer, with the battle scars to prove it. I'm a ghost story tour guide here in Savannah's Historic District, where I drive a Hearse that has been altered to accommodate 8 LIVE people sitting in the back, as we cruise through downtown. Prior to that, I have been: a newspaper reporter in south Florida, a writer and photographer in the Army, a student at a Commercial Diving School in Los Angeles Harbor (long story) and an inspector at the Marathon-Ashland Petroleum oil refinery in Eastern Kentucky (also a long story).Small wonder that I tell stories for a living. In late 1999 I finally settled here in Savannah -- the most stunningly beautiful city I have ever seen -- where I had just a couple of more crappy occupations before beginning this one in March, 03.I've been looking for "proof" all my life. Even as a small child, I couldn't believe in the religion my family tried to foist upon me, but I'm not an atheist yet. Hence the self-imposed nickname "AgnosticNomad."If I can make LOTS of money and have LOTS of fun at the same time, I will. If not, I'll just have LOTS of fun. Because, barring any dramatic consciousness-up-heaving religious conversion, I'll continue to believe that life is wayyyyyyyyy too short. And I'm pretty sure you can't spend it after you're dead.Myspace Contact Tables , hosting by Imgdump.net

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Winston Churchill, The Marquis de Lafayette, the Dalai Lama, the main character (whatever his REAL name is) of the book "The Razor's Edge" by Somerset Maugham

Television:

Don't have one. Refuse to buy one. It would be like putting an alcoholic in charge of a liquor store. It's just bad news for all concerned. So I read a lot and hang out in bars.
