About Me

What's up? My name's Bryan, and I live in Brighton in a great apartment with a buddy of mine. I'm a single 27 year old working professional just hoping to meet some cool people. I play baseball in the spring & summer, watch Notre Dame football in the fall, and ski in the winter. I love to read, cook, hang out with my friends, and hit the gym a few times a week. Don't know what else to say, but I'm sure I'll figure something out later.

My Interests

I play baseball in the summer for an amateur baseball team in the Yawkey League. I'm a player/manager for the Brookline Dodgers, and I can't wait for the upcoming season. I also play golf in the summer too (however, I don't play all that well). I love Notre Dame football, Red Sox Baseball, Patriots (and Giants) football, playing my guitar, reading as much as I can, drinking with my buddies, cooking, and just trying to enjoy life.

I'd like to meet:

I don't have a problem meeting people, but this seems like fun. I've got a bunch of great friends, but I'm also up for new friends (maybe more). I'd love to meet someone that has similar interests as I do. She should have a great look on life, a good sense of humor, and someone who carry an intelligent conversation without it seeming forced.

Music:

I listen to pretty much everything besides country. I love the 80's, and a few of my favorite bands are: Incubus, Foo Fighters, Audioslave, The Killers, Dave Matthews, Pearl Jam, U2, Van Halen, G&R & Metallica.

Movies:

Where to start... Super Troopers, Boondock Saints, 40-yr Old Virgin, Indiana Jones trilogy, Rocky 1-5, Van Wilder, Braveheart, Matrix (just the first one), Napoleon Dynamite, Crash, Office Space, A Time to Kill, Tommy Boy, Boiler Room, and probably 100 more.

Television:

24, Family Guy, Law & Order (all of them), The Shield, Sopranos (when it's on every 5 years), My Name is Earl, The Office, Baseball Tonight, and SportsCenter.

Books:

So in 2005, I was the mad reader. I read (somewhat chronologically): The Lord of the Rings trilogy (that doesn't make me a dork, they're classics), all 4 Dan Brown novels, 9 novels by Lee Child (which were amazing), A Tale of 2 Cities, most of David Baldacci's novels (7 so far), Knute Rockne biography, The Last Best League (about the 2002 season of the Chatham A's in the Cape Cod League), and now I'm reading A Conspiracy of Fools, which is about the rise and fall of Enron. I know I missed a few, but that's a good start.

Heroes:

My parents. Without them, and how they brought me up, I'm not even close to being who I am.
