What Happens to a Dream Differed?

About Me

I was born in Sacramento CA, lived in England, but spent the bulk of my life in Wichita Kansas with Dorothy and the Wizard. I graduated with a degree in Public Relations @ Alabama State University in 2006. I've been living in Long Beach California a little over a year now... (kinda like a catch 22). I'm was working with RockCorps, it was awesome, but the gigs over. I've been a lot of places and seen a lot of things in my life. Now it's time for me to click my heels and move on to the next adventure! All I care about is my family, few close friends and my career... ANY QUESTIONS...? JUST ASK! Oh yea, I took that picture of Barack below this...I have more, I'll post them later.[LOVEMYFLASH]

My Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy chillin with my people, drinking, reading, listening to music, writing, singing and recording music (novice beat maker as well lol) chilling at the beach, writing (my 1st book) and surfing the internet.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that is real. Real people are hard to come by, thats why I don't have many friends (well... in Cali @ least). I like people who don't live their lives according to lyrics or mass media influence. People who understand "Modern Capitalistic New World Order," And where they fit in the agenda. I like people who act goofey as hell in public and laught loudly despite the stares. People with style, class, smarts and conversation. No fakers, fronters, users, or empty people. I've encountered more then my fair share.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Music:

Stevie, Musiq, Dwele, Jill Scott, Van Hunt, Eric Roberson, India Arie, Donnie, Anthony Hamilton, Jamiroquai, Kanye West, Nas,Playa...anyone with a message beyond "money, hoes, cars and clothes." That music is ok sometimes, but it's destroying our youth because they can't decipher entertainment marketing strategies from reality... Another thing... every time I support someone slanging their underground music in the streets it's always hot ass GARBAGE! I vow to not make another purchase off the block until I hear the album entirely! $5.00 IS A GALLON OF GAS IN THIS BITCH!

Movies:

Coming to America, She hate me, Boomerang, Best Man, Brown Sugar, Man on Fire, Pay it Forward, Inkwell, Freedom Writers, Ever After (kinda lame...i know, but who cares), Have u Seen Mama's Foot? and Slumber party (SHOT OUTS 2 XYRUS ENTERTAINMENT), Butterfly Effect, Vanilla Sky, Ricochet, Friday, Spiderman, X-Men, Shrek, Ray,...all of the movies most people love...and all of the movies the average person thinks is lame, likes but won't admit, or doesn't comprehend the plot.

Television:

Considering my current circumstance, I have time to watch TV, lmao! It stays on CNN for the most part. Get a little guilty pleasure taste of a few reality shows every now and then (that will remain nameless lol!). I like Boondocks, Family Guy, old school re-runs like "A Different World", Sanford and Son", "The Jeffersons," and "Good Times." To name a few...

Books:

Native Son, The Glass Menagerie, Black Boy, Banjo, 48 Laws of Power, To Kill a Mockingbird... anything by Richard Wright, Tennessee Williams, or Langston Hughes. These are my favorite writers. The Coldest Winter Ever as well... Winter was a damn shame lol!

Heroes:

God, because he saved me...My pops, and our soon to be president...because he's going to change the unchangable through the grace of God!
