About Me

..who is it that you serve? to whom do you answer? i bet you're going to say, "myself. i own my life. i'm in control. don't tell me otherwise...ever."so you say. did you make yourself? did you form yourself in your mother's womb? did you look at your mother's DNA and your father's DNA and say, "yeah, i want that color hair, that eye color, that height, . . . ugh, no, not that chin!!" were you the one who made sure that you didn't fall out of the womb as soon as you were conceived? were you the one that decided you were gonna make it through every single month your mom carried you inside, and made sure that you survived your birth?i didn't think so.so you think you're your own person. well, i know i'm not. i belong to someone else. my life is not my own. i owe every single second of it to Him. it's His gift to me. a gift that i don't deserve any more than the worst murderer. i have a share in the sin of man. that sin of man has earned me eternal humiliation. for we have all offended His honor. and even a small offense against the infinite is an infinite offense.but life is not the only gift i don't deserve. He gave Himself up to death and humiliation, so that i might be alive and glorified. forever. He came back, to show me that death will never be the end for me. that i can have a new life after death, just like His. that's the greatest gift of all.first this life, then after it wears away, i have the new life. there is no greater love that can ever be shown than the love expressed by dying willingly in utter humiliation, to spare those you love from paying that debt of humiliation. there is no greater hope that can be given than the hope inspired by returning from the grave, from the end of all hope. by a simple finite act of love, He brought us all an infinite redemption.this is His gift to me. it is also His gift to you. that is, if you would ever reach out to take it. He offers the gift freely, for you to freely receive. take it or leave it. it's your choice. everlasting glory and honor at His side, or eternal shame and despair fleeing before His gaze. your choice. who is it you serve? to whom is it you answer? i answer to Abba Father, HaShem (The Name), the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who is God the Father, the Maker of all the universe; Yeshua Hammashiach (Jesus Christ), the Logos (Word/Wisdom) of God, who is God the Son, the Lamb of the final redemption sacrifice; and the Living Breath of God, who is God the Holy Spirit, the Giver of strength to those whom God loves. to whom do you answer?
