Product 66 is made up of four young teenagers who have nothing interesting to do other than play music. Cody, Royce, Justin, and Eric all knew each other from school and hanging out and such. After trying to form a band together as early as the 6th grade, sometime during the summer of 2004 Cody, Royce, and Eric tried to make another band. They got another long time friend Josh to play bass. It was mostly just practicing and messing around until the band got their first big break (ha): a 30 minute slot at a birthday party of royces parents friends in temecula. Right before this though, the band kicked out Eric. Cause he was gay. So they got Royces brother Steven to play drums, and he ended up just being the drummer.
After that, the band started to get going a little bit. They started to play shows at Madlins Coffee House in Temecula. In March of 2005, Steven quit due to "artistic differences" and they had to resolve to the huge burden of bringing dumb old Eric back in on drums. Then in May, Cody and Royce werent getting along much with Josh. After a big argument he quit, so Royce got the huge privelage of bringing in the wonderful Justin on bass, who had also known everybody for a long time and even been in a band with Eric.
So that is the current lineup now. The band has been through many wierd names such as Nuns With Guns, I.V.S., and most popularly The Fumes. We make songs about what is on our mind at the time, whether it be a problem with society or barking at a dog. We dont have a central message we try to get through in our music, we simply sing about what we think about.
