Went back and lived in the Philippines on my own in April, 2007 - October, 2007. Went back to Adelaide for a month, then moved to Dubai, end November, 2007. I guess going around with just a swag of clothes and my hair curler hasn't changed so much since I'd moved out of home in June, '06, except, the "swag" is now a trolley cabin bag, which is sometimes accompanied by a 30kg-capacity Samsonite; and instead of going back and forth from my parents' house to my boyfriend's house, to my house, I now anticipate going back and forth continents - Dubai-London, Dubai-Karachi, Dubai-New York, Dubai-Melbourne, etc., etc. I somehow managed to score the job of my mid-'07's dreams and am relentlessly living it out.I have an incredible family and incredible friends. They are the ones who've taught me the most important things I know now; I'm always reminded of true beauty, compassion, intelligence, wit, integrity and love when I'm around them. I love different cultures and languages. I love good food and music. I have somewhat of a controlled obsession with food. I love to cook and more importantly, I love to cater to those I love.I love practically living alone, with my housemate popping her head in every now and then to say "hi", or to sit there for hours chatting with me over pumpkin seeds until our lips are sore from the salt. I love solitary walks, and long beach/pool sessions with my friends, but I also love relaxing in bed, watching episodes of Sex in the City that I've seen a million times, with a hot chocolate coddled in my hands.Adoro la vida.
