My Interests

my interests are as varied as my outfits! lol! i like the beach, mountains, hiking, camping, clubbing--sometimes--and others. i can do something as peaceful as relaxing around the house, but then go out drinking at a laid back pub-type place with real beer, not the watered down american crap! of course i love languages, love to hear them spoken and study them...one day i will master basque and russian! two high goals of mine! history is also of interest as those who do not study it are doomed to repeat it!

i like all kinds of music, though euro-techno usually rocks my world! however i must say that my favourite groups are the smiths, the cure, the pet shop boys, blondie, madonna, SIOUXSIE and the banshees, garbage, portishead, sisters of mercy, 311, sublime, gabo ferro, debbie harry and blondie and i could go on and on!

Movies:

any movie with audrey hepburn or johnny (sigh) depp. lord of the rings---even though they left out tom bombadil! the john hughes flicks i think were crucial for getting through high school and of course how could i ever forget the immortal goddess herself PARKER POSEY in PARTY GIRL!!

Television:

SEX and THE CITY! QUEER AS FOLK. desperate housewives, real housewives of orange county, usually anything on discover, tlc or history channel. the golden girls, designing women, CAROLINA basketball, and thats the TRUE shade of blue!

Books:

does 501 spanish and 501 german verbs count? all i read lately is school books, i wish someone would make a biology book that doesn't put me to sleep! though i do enjoy my 'rhein sagen' and yes i can read and understand the german! lord of the rings and the hobbit an i will so get around to reading the da vinci code one day.
