About Me

DAFT PUNK
Introspection:
I believe in Jesus. I am Chicano. I am Mexican and Apache. I love my family. I love my friends. I do not like all of my friends but if you are my friend I am down for you no matter what. I am loyal to those who love me and I love those who trust me, regardless of anything about them I might not like. I like windy days, sunny evenings, and thunderstorms. I dance, I drink, I smoke, although I shouldn't do these things. I dont speak spanish, I use it but I am not fluent. I am not great at English either. I know how to say I love you in many languages, but I only mean it when you feel it. I believe in social justice and sustainable development. I often find myself alone, but I am never lonely- I am complete as I am, although I do enjoy company. I am exactly who I am supposed to be, I may change focus but I will never sway. I believe in my Raza and I believe that anywhere we step in the American continents is exactly where we belong, period. It hurts me that in America our education system is being raped to satisfy the war to keep our economy a world whore. I believe most people are good people: selfish, thoughtless, needy, so very mundane and yet so very beautiful. I appreciate the humanity of people and I love to see them shine beyond themselves. I believe in living and dying magnificently, but I am not afraid to live my life foregoing that luxury in the service of all selfish, thoughtless, needy, so very mundane and yet so very beautiful people- because I too am all the above.
I am a quadrality.
I am an uneasy citizen of the American Monoculture;
I am a pluralistic, multicultural, American Man of Diversity and Diversion;
I am a Latino, Mestiso, Mexican;
I am a Chicano.
None of these stand alone within me, and niether am I ever alone in being any of these people.
I am an almagam of terrestrial inequities and celestial eccentricities, whatever the hell that means.
I am La Raza Fantasmica
I am La Raza Orgasmica
I am La Raza Cosmica
I am La Raza Comica....
and so are you.

My Interests

..

I used to be a Musician....

....I used to be a Poet....

....and I once was even a Dancer....

But I was never a Man
until I became a Loser.

Matthew 16:24-25
Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it."

I LOVE.... HISTORY PLACES PEOPLE RELEVANT EDUCATION DIVERSITY SOCIAL JUSTICE SUSTAINABILITY MY CAMERA AND YOUR SMILE

I'd like to meet:

"True love comes quietly, without banners or flashing lights. If you hear bells, get your ears checked."

Maya Angelou,
for teaching me that we are more alike than we are unalike.

When you learn, teach. When you get, give.

And Rickey Henderson, because when I was in little league baseball baserunning was all that I was really good at.

Extroversion:

"I am somebody who is less intersted in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops."
-Stephan Jay Gould

I only sang because the lonely road was long; and now the road and I are gone but not the song ....

Ernesto Galarza from "Koda-chromes in Rhyme" 1983

"Why am I naked and sticky? Did I miss something fun?" Fry, Futurama

....The spirit of my people is starving, broken and sweaty Dreaming about revolution looking at my machete- But the workload is too heavy to rise up in arms And if I ran away, I know they'd probably murder my moms.... [immortal technique]

Something tells me that the ultimate test of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and moments of convenience, but where he stands in moments of challenge and moments of controversy.
