Lubbock's first and only local boardshop. What the hell? Lubbock has a boardshop? Yah, yah, yah. We are a crazy, diverse, mixed-up crew with one passion... board sports. Without board sports our lives would not be complete. That's why we want to offer the same stoked attitude for the sports that shape our lives to you. Our main goal is to provide you with the latest and sickest gear in wake, skate, and snow. Riptank Boardshop is Lubbock's first and only local, core boardshop! We carry snowboards, snowskates, wakeboards, wakeskates, wakesurfs, skateboards, longboards, freebords, indoboards and every accessory and thread for the lifestyle to go along with it. If you don't find what you need call us up and if we can, we'll try and order it for you.
We also wax and tune snowboards!! And p-tex your gashes!! Come by and get your board tuned and ready for the mountain!!
AND we throw sick events in snow, wake, and skate! The 1st Annual Riptank Wakeboard Open was held in Lubbock at Buffalo Springs Lake on September 16, 2006. We had our 2nd annual wake comp out there on September 22nd and it was a huge success! Our first annual Riptank Halfpipe Competition was held in Angel Fire, New Mexico on February 3rd of 2007. We had our 2nd snow event- SLOPESTYLE comp on February 24TH, '08! Our first skate competitions are not yet decided, but keep in touch for more details. We threw the 1st Annual Riptank Rail Jam in the depot with Beer Garden as part of one of the Texas Wakeboard tour stops on 4.20.07! With riders: J.D. Webb, Gabe Lucas, Brian Sasser, Tom Fooshee, Joey Bradley, Richie McKee, Dustin Shows, Danny, Sherrill, Joe Lemberg and Rusty Scott!! We also co-hosted the Malibu Pro Team Challenge in Orlando as part of the final Texas Wakeboard Tour stop. It aired on Fuel TV in November!!
