About Me
Clan History:The History of Chaotic Carnage The idea of Chaotic Carnage was born in April of 2003 when Kax(Cc), Reznor(Cc), and Carnage(Cc) got together with the intention of creating a gamers clan. Unfortuatly, between the 3 of us we didn't have the game to win a 3v1 against most of the gamers on bnet. So after consideration of that, we decided to open the clan up to anyone who wanted to join.We sat down for 3 days to think about things like medals, testing, and a name......we were really stuck on a name for the clan. Until Lady_Chaos(Cc) came up with the name Chaotic Carnage, and from the moment I heard it we knew it was right. I rushed out to by the .com name and we were off and running, with no idea how much work we were in for.At the time, scripted sites were just coming into popularity, but I was dead set against that because on every scripted site I looked at the medals and layout were all pretty much the same and I wanted our clan to have a different look and feel than all those other clans out there so I went to geocities and started creating a clan site.Things went well, we opened the doors to the new Op channel we made on August 14th 2003, and on the very same day we got our first recruit....Desolation(Cc), and what a recruit he was! Desolation recruited so fast and furiously that we were off and running in no time. After about the first 3 months I started to run into trouble. Kax(Cc) had left battle net due to a loss of interest in starcraft, and the clan was expanding so fast I was spending 8 hours a day manually updating the website (which was seriously cutting into my gaming time), and to make matters even more difficult, some of the members we had were starting wars with other clans, that I was still incapable of dealing with. Before I knew what was happening in December of 2003 I was closing the doors on Op Cc) because we were being flooded so badly that I was totally discouraged.I Knew when I closed the doors I would be back, I just needed to let things settle down a little and get some more bot knowledge so I could be capable of defending my clan from flooders and loaders, not to mention I had every intention of being a little more selective of who I was going to allow in the clan this time, because I didn't want anymore trouble makers starting wars that I couldn't handle. So in January of 2004 after a month off we Opened the channel Clan Cc, and this time I was ready.Things settled into a nice groove for awhile and we expanded nicly making our name on bnet as a peacful gaming clan, and I purchased my first set of Clan scripts for a website (DaS 2.3 was the most advanced at the time) so I wouldn't have to spend all my gaming time doing website updates. After about 11 months I ran into some personal issues in my life that were going to prevent me from being on battle net for at least a few months, and I had to start looking for someone to fill in for me while I was going to be gone. I talked to several members but no one could promise that they would be able to hold ops 24/7 until I ran into Darl(Cc).I hadn't known Darl(Cc) that long at this point, but I was desperate and wanted to make sure the clan would survive my absense, so I turned over everything to him and announced my retirement, making it very clear that I would be back as soon as my situation allowed. And so began the dark days of Chaotic Carnage.I came back to the channel about 3 months after I had retired to find it in total disarry, old members were upset, and new members had no respect for the leadership position anymore, because Darl(Cc) had allowed every clan on battle net to bully him around, but circumstances still wouldn't allow me the kind of time it took to run the clan myself so I came back with the rank of Commander (not leader) and allowed Darl(Cc) to continue to lead the clan while I was still around with the hopes that I could help guide, and mold him into the leader that Chaotic Carnage needed. After about 3 more months of sitting in the channel that I had created watching my clan fall apart and my old members getting upset enough to consider leaving the clan after years of wearing the (Cc) tags I had enough. It was time for me to come out of retirement and retake control of the clan I created while there was still a clan to retake control of. What I didn't realize was Darl(Cc) had started to think that I wasn't coming back (at least not to lead the clan again), and gave me quite a fight when I came out of retirement, but none the less I got my channel back in July of 2005 and members came flocking back in droves. Chaotic Carnage was reborn again, under the vision it was created. So here we are today in November of 2005 and things are looking better than ever. I've learned enough, and been around battle net long enough now to say with confidence that no matter the past, we can hold our heads up and look toward the future, because never again will I EVER put myself or the clan in a situation that I have to retire. We are here, we are strong, we are a part of battle net history, and we are Chaotic Carnage! Let all who game against us, feel our wrath, and see our style, and respect our ability, now and for years to come! Let the Carnage Begin!! -=]Carnage(Cc)[=- Founder and rightful Leader of Chaotic Carnage
