About Me

ME? MOI? OK~ I love to travel, especially across the Sea! I've lived in England for about 8-years~during the height of the punk-and psychedelica that turned into hardcore and grunge at a later date:). I also traced my Irish roots (who hasn't), and do NOT need to "kiss the Blarney stone." I do remember my name, the date, and the President..unfortunately~and I have a keen interest in Political Science and Philosophy...OK~call me a "FLAKE." I've been called worse! I have deep burgundy-brown hair/ jet black eyes/ and semi-fair skin. My hair is long and rebellious (like me), and can only be placed under control by those "wet-look" gels~ya get them in the "Ethnic" section at CVS. My weight is average/curvy/ and am a size 8 or 9 jeans....I AM a woman, and not a man in womens' jeans! My favorite music is: All BLues, some older Jazz, stormy Classical and certainly Classic Rock within reason. I overdosed on Pink Floyd as a teen; so forgive me if I cannot recite Brain Damage backwards! Now, I still like some old Hardcore~Iggy Pop-Stooges,old Social Distortion, some of that goth trance-techno stuff,The Art Of Noise, Bauhaus, Love and Rockets, Alien Sex Fiend, Specimen, Dogs s'Amour, London (Pretty Girls) Quireboys~ (my buddies in London), the New Yawk Dolls, (RIP@ Johnny), Hanoi Rocks, and of course HENDRIX, JANIS, and JEFFERSON AIRPLANE...but alas, I cannot forget Thin Lizzy and Badfinger~or old Jethro Tull. "Aqualung, my friend...you poor old sod, you see it's ONLY ME..." These days I work for Mother Nature helping to heal skins that are stressed. I was a make-up artist for Christian Dior for 16-years thru Robinsons May Corp~and then Boom-Boom, out went the Lights, and MACYS took over. NOW I have a website for private make-up jobs, and am employed Full-Time by 3-Spa Lines from France that are only available at the SPA in FRANCE, a website, or select Pharmacies. I'm a mom of 2 grown kids- at the moment; and lost my partner (sound-light-tech/engineer for many bands) in 1998, of cancer. So, I love to discuss Current Events, and what is REALLY going on in the WORLD~not what we are TOLD is the TRUTH! Enough said.

My Interests

Good Music, Motorcycles, and Stimulating Conversation. I also like to take walks and hike. I enjoy camping, swimming, and Mountain Climbing, and writing~poetry or prose, or just rambling~who knows?

I'd like to meet honest and open-minded people with interests in the ARTS ~even Museums and Galleries~who can talk Current Events! I also would love to meet people who were ever in the London Music Scene from 1980-1988~from the PISTOLS to the SIGUE-SIGUE SPUTNIK, PETER and the TEST-TUBE BABIES, ADICTS,SPECIMEN,DOGS D'AMOUR, QUIREBOYS, ST. Moritz Club~sorry to bug ya,Lemmy, while you were playing pin-ball), and the Dingwalls, Embassy, and Batcave days....(and Gossips, ALiceInWonderland, and Pigeon-Toed Orange-Peel clubs)!! Good old Leicester Square, Soho and the old MARQUEE with the smell of piss and lager embedded in those wooden floor-boards! Oh, I am also a cat lover! I own 2 CATS! They are my friends, and they seem to know when I most need a friend. Other older rocker moms of teens, C'mon down! WE CAN'T ALL say, DO AS I SAY; and NOT AS I DID :). Any Celtic Literature: Yeats, Synge, O'Casey, (ta-dahhhh) even James Joyce!
