Will think of something to put in here soon.

About Me

Let The Madness Begin!
Maybe this will be my new obsession - standing on the high points of all 50 U.S. states! I have no idea where this is all going, but after reaching the highest point in Connecticut (my fourth high point), I have caught the fever! I created a web site about all this: www.HighPoints.us . Check it out! :)

About Me - I already run way too many web sites ( ColoradoGuy.com , LongHairCafe.com , AltitudeSnob.com , CottonwoodPass.net and MtPrinceton.org are a few interesting ones), so why did I create a My Space page? Well, many of my friends have one. It is a great way to stay connected!
This summer (2008), I have become consumed with my latest project of writing a book about my bicycle journey across America . This is really hard work ... harder than actually riding across America itself. I am hanging in there though. :)
A few random things about me: I have quite a love and appreciation for cacti and the desert. I have long hair. I live at exactly 8,127 feet in altitude from the floor of my home.
Thanks so much for visiting my page! :)
NOTE: Easy with the e-mails, especially those asking Colorado types of questions. Visit my forum page instead.

My Interests

Bicycling, photography, road trips in the Interior West, chess, fantasy football, running my web sites and coffee.

I'd like to meet:

A few people come to mind.
1) The makers of Dots, Jujyfruits and Hot Tamales! :p)
2) The person(s) with the skills to reupholster the seats of my 1964 Cadillac .
3) Anyone with book writing experience who can help/encourage me with my own work.
4) Anyone who loves visiting my web site(s) and has an encouraging word or two.

Atonal Music Appreciation Month Is Over

For a few days, I played beautiful, moving and downright experimental atonal classics from some of the greatest composers, including Alexander Scriabin, Arnold Schoenberg, Alban Berg, Krzysztof Penderecki and many others.

Unfortunately, the music eventually caused a "meltdown" for me and things are back to normal. You can read more about the meltdown here: Music Meltdown .

There's Nothing Like Good Ol' Arkansas!
Let me tell you something, I am very Arkansas proud! All y'all gon' git an a$$ whoopin' in Arkansaw! I go hog wild over the Arkansas Razorbacks and love it when we beat Crapabama, Losers in the Swamp University (LSU) and the Texas Lamehosers. And to all you people in places like Crapabama and Georgia who think Arkansas isn't part of the South, oh boy, when the Hogs run all over you this season and win the SEC, then we'll see who is doing the taunting!
That photo above is me proudly holding out my Arkansas flag that has hung in my living room for three years! I am a proud Arkansan and I will not back down! Arkansas, Arkansas, ARKANSAS!

I have a web site dedicated to all of the wonderful things about Arkansas: www.Arkansas-Cafe.com . (Click the link or logo directly above.)

Television:

Seinfeld. That show was a life changer! :)

Heroes:

First and foremost ... Jesus Christ! :)
