I'm a pretty open minded person and I have a lot of different interests, including music, sports (especially baseball), philosophy, music, spirituality, art, music, humor, movies, games, music, culture, reading, writing (LOVE using my imagination and being creative), music, hanging with my friends, spending time with my family, exercise & fitness, music, city skylines at night or a starlit night sky far away from the city, sunrise, sunset, history, Asian landscapes architecture and culture, photography, music, travel, being positive, laughing at things that really shouldn't be funny and the list continues to grow. Oh, and did I mention music? Be warned: if you get me going on something like music or philosophy, getting me to shut up can be difficult.
Those with an open mind. Those possessing a good sense of humor and imagination. Those with a profound love for music. Those who are simply cool, fun or interesting...and my dad. As far as famous people go, I'd have to say Bruce Lee, Bill Hicks, Samuel Langhorne Clemens (Mark Twain), and your mom. "Your mom"? Oh, that's real mature. What a jackass. Shut up and get over it.
I appreciate music to an extent which not many people do. Music is my passion - I listen to, have and enjoy it all. There's no other feeling in the world like hearing the perfect song at the perfect time. Music can make even the most miserable feelings feel good.
And here's a list of just "a few" artists that I am fond of, starting with my all-time favorite band...Sister Machine Gun, Vallejo, Gomez, The Cult, Local H, The Refreshments, Knee Deep Shag, The Hunger, Jamiroquai, Earthsuit, 311, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, Audioslave,

and...I have somewhere around 2,000 CD's, give or take a couple hundred, all store bought or given to me. Maybe it's because I'm a traditionalist, maybe I'm a bit slow when it comes to embracing change, and maybe I'm just uptight, but I just can not get into the whole IPod and music download thing. I don't want mp3's; I want CD's, records, tapes...whatever. I want the real thing. I like to have the whole package with the cool (or not so cool) cover art, the pretty pictures, the song lyrics, etc, and I prefer to be the one to remove the original plastic wrapping. Plus, I like to think that I'm supporting the artists whose work I appreciate by coughing up the money for the album rather than pirating or paying a dollar for one song on the internet. I'd feel guilty and dissatisfied otherwise. *steps down from soapbox*

Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time Series and Neil Gaiman has owned me in the couple years that have passed since I finally read Neverwhere. Other than that, I just tend to collect a bunch of books that mostly sit on a shelf and collect dust. I love reading, but it seems like there's never enough time. Yeah, I suck.
Of course my family and friends, who are like family to me, and then anyone, famous or not, who says or does something that enlightens me in some way.
