About Me

This may be a bit rambling, but I'm trying to be comprehensive. I'm a mostly harmless, sweet, adorable, and romantic guy. Although sometimes I can be a rascal. However, since I have an abundance of charm, even when I'm being a rascal, I'll bring a smile to your face. See, I bet you're smiling right now. Although the phrase laid back does apply to me, this shouldn't be understood to imply that I lack sophistication. I have a genuine love of learning and believe in being a lifelong learner. I've always liked science and math, which have made me seem nerdy. One person described me as professorly. I tend to seek new and interesting experiences; I like to travel and explore; and I like to be around people who have interesting and creative ways of thinking about things and are fun. Sometimes I get into trouble because I like to talk about things you're not supposed to talk about like religion, politics, and sex. I'm not always able to produce conversation on demand and I don't expect you to either; however, patience is usually rewarded. It probably takes a long time to get to know me; but, hey, wouldn't it be boring if it were otherwise. I feel lucky to have a son (13) and a daughter (8) who live with me part-time and I am a very committed parent. I love music and entertaining and I have a music listening party at my house once a month. I like to go to The Hunter Gatherer Thursday nights for live jazz. I have a B.S. in Biology from Penn State and earned a presidential award of excellence for outstanding achievement in environmental protection services. I enjoy my job very much. I'm a Yankee! I was born in Harrisburg, PA. My mom's 100% Italian and would like me to meet someone nice. I was raised catholic but consider myself to have a naturalistic worldview. I am very interested in personal growth and being socially concious. I tend to read non-fiction science books and histories/biographies. I love sushi - I could eat it every day! I usually wear comfortable clothes...love nature, music and sensual expressions...very liberal, very romantic and playful...enjoy movies, books, thinking & talking, food, gardening, pool, climbing, skating, dancing, baths, having parties, roller coasters and traveling...5 year old dark brindle female retired racing greyhound named Blair and usually one foster...write poetry.
