I am a 33 year old full time Dad and full time musician living and playing in the Saratoga Springs N.Y area. I split my time between hosting several popular open mic's and playing w/ my good friend and bandmate George Fletcher as "The Tequila Mockingbirds".
I also play w/ "George Fletcher's Bourbon Renewal". We play high energy blues and swing. I break alot of strings. I can replace a broken string in, like, 36 bars or less. Swear.
I have been married for over 3 years to my amazing wife Natalie and we had our first child on Sept 4, 2006. Her name is Mia Lillian Pashoukos and she's perfect. My days are taking care of my energetic baby daughter and at night I play a guitar for a living. I love every day although I must admit that I'm pretty sleepy.
After graduating H.S. I was in the Navy, stationed onboard the USS George Washington, CVN 73. Our homeport was Norfolk, Va. While on board we were deployed to the Persian Gulf, Arabian Gulf, and the Mediterranean Sea. I have been to England, France, Isreal, Turkey, The UAE, Dubai, Greece, Puerto Rico and through the Suez Canal 4 times. I have travelled across the country and taken a Greyhound from San Francisco to Albany. That was a long 4 days. Now I like to relax when I can.Great news! Below is a recent review of The Tequila Mockingbirds recently released cd, "Live at thirteen" The following CD review appeared in the Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 Saratogian newspaper."Collaborating musicians are like marriage partnerships. The closer they work together - provided they don't break each other's hearts - the more musical symmetry they build. Since coming together calling themselves The Tequila Mockingbirds, guitarists George Fletcher and Peter Pashoukos have built a sonic foundation with one another that is celebrated with the release of their new CD, "The Tequila Mockingbirds - Live at thirteen." The album was recorded on stage at the Caroline Street club, and features 10 tunes that venture between recapturing the grit of Willie Dixon and redefining Van Morrison. This is "Moondance" and "Into The Mystic" performed with the intimacy of dueling guitars in a way that was meant to be listened to and enjoyed. Kick in an original tune ("The Woah Zone") and (George Benson's) "Breezin'" and the aching meloncholy of Gershwin's "Summertime" and "The Tequila Mockingbirds Live at thirteen" delivers a wallop in any season. And that doesn't even take into account their rendition of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," in an arrangement t which returns the song to its rightful place of the cracked desert with the sun setting over Durango." -Thomas Dimopoulos
