Music is noise/sound. What makes something music, is what the producer(s) of that sound or noise and the sounds and noises that come before and after, are trying to express, and let out. This is a transfer of emotion. What the receiver of this sound/noise and sounds and noises that come before and after feels upon hearing them, is up to them. However, if the receiver of the noises and sounds feels any bit of what was felt by the creator(s) of that sound(s) and noise(s), then that is the muse flowing from the noise/sound maker into the minds and hearts of the listener. To be able to do this is what it means to be a musician, at least in my case. And I personally feel that to be able to do this by any means possible is what being a musician is all about.
