Pimp My ProfileIt has been a long haul but Vinny Fazzari is finally making his mark in the music industry. Vinny started playing music as a young boy. His mom turned him onto The Beatles and that was all that mattered from then on out. One day he asked his parents if he could take drum lessons? They may have been sorry they said yes.
Pimp My ProfileGrowing up on Catalina Island was difficult for there were no music teachers. He wanted to learn to play the guitar but mainly had to learn on his own by listening to albums. He would save money to buy records, then listen very carefully to analyse the chord structure and how they were produced, breaking the instrumentation down and always being amazed at how they achieved such quality recordings.
Pimp My ProfileVinny Fazzari is really no stranger to Los Angeles. Living in Venice Beach, he opened his own recording studio in Santa Monica. He catered to many bands in the area for years, giving them advice and helping them with their demos. He was their engineer but also loaned his production skills which brought him popularity. Vinny has been compared to some of the top producer's of our time. Vinny as a producer has many albums to his credit included among those, a Beatle's album of songs John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote but never released on any of their studio albums. The cd was mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Pimp My ProfileVinny, a multi-instrumentalist, used his talents with numerous LA bands of all styles ranging from punk, speed metal, progressive rock, country rock, rock to super eclectic funky artistic performance art. He has rocked on almost every major stage LA has to offer. He was in 4 bands at the same time juggling his time between the studio and rocking the town.
Pimp My ProfileAfter working years and brutal hours at his studio in Ocean Park, Vinny decided it was time for a change. He sold his studio to concentrate on his own musical career. He acquired an exclusive management deal. They said London or The Netherlands. Vinny chose Holland since he was dating a dutch girl at the time. Europe was beckoning and off he went. Vinny has toured throughout the European continent in such countries such as Spain, Italy, Sicily, Germany, Prague, England, Belgium and of course Amsterdam and Holland.
Pimp My ProfileVinny's band in Holland, "tHe ciRcUs" based out of Amsterdam, (listen to "Do you know what that means" above) has had a great run however, Vinny unfortunately has left the band and is spreading his wings towards a place where he once belonged. California. "I need to get back to my roots man. I really miss home you know? Plus, I have never really played my own music there. Can you believe that? I was always too busy with other bands and my studio. I am totally ecstatic about the move. My dream is to put out music that will touch people and make them feel good. TURN THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN AND SHAKE IT! Through "The Secret", I will greet the world in harmony for love is in the air. Some people shoot for the moon. I shoot for Saturn. What can I say, I dig rings!!"
