Love books too... just don't have time to read much anymore. I like John Saul, Steven King, Ann Rice, Dean Koontz, James Patterson, among others.
First, my family. Then my extended family of friends... Toddly, Heather & David, Marie, Lizardbreath, Blake, Carmen... Can't list them all, but they all have done something at some time or another that I admire greatly and for which I have great respect.
