For movies I will have to go with the greatest movie of all time...Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Hunter S. Thompson is a genius. Also, Blow is a good movie. Johnny Depp is the man.
TV pretty much sucks ass, but there are a few good shows. Lost, South Park, Family Guy, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet. TV to expand your mind.
