I DJed in the SF Bay area for several years playing for clubs and rave crews such as CloudFactory, Harmony, Viberation, Thump and Purifide. Later, post-raver, a few of us threw a tuesday techno night called Impulse in a crappy SF irish bar. It lasted for a couple of years and we were often hung over. I'm in portland now. The portland music scene is fairly active & varied with a decent amount of electronic events.
