Matt Hunt

I started playing the Bass Guitar in 1999 at the age of 14 and carried on to Study Music at Amersham College. From early on I was playing in busy function bands starting with a Motown cover band gigging around the London area. I then went on to join original band 'Favourite Ache' playing frequently in London venues like 'The Garage', 'Borderline', '12 Bar Club' and 'The Clapham Grand'.Currently I am playing in various busy function bands including 'Main Event' and the 'James Manders Band', a blend of jazz, soul and latin influences playing a mixture of Jazz gigs, functions and original music. James Manders - Vocals/Guitar and Haydn Callow - DrumsAswell as the usual gigs I am also a busy "pit" player playing in many Theatre Shows including 'Copa Cabana' and 'The Hot Mikado' at the Elgiva Theatre, Chesham and a 5 week run of Snow White at the Millfield Theatre.I also recently took up the Double Bass and am using it more and more in the pit and jazz work. Speaking of jazz, I've just started playing/gigging/recording (all at the same time) with Dan Forshaw (sax) and his excellent band! Nice!
