About Me

I'm a sound guy for movies, and things of that nature..

My Interests

Films are cool, anything entertaining/stimulating. Doing things is great. Walking, museums, nights out at bars, hanging out, not just for the drinkin'. Although drink specials are key, I am not a heavy drinker. I dig being outside. I grew up in the country (Virginia, not Pennsylvania) so I love seeing stars, trees, squirrels (although city squirrels are completley different that country squirrels. City squirrels have a fucked up attitude), dirt roads, cows (in pastures), pastures, open fields, lakes (without pollution). All the crap that you take for granted growing up in the country, and really miss when you come to a city.I am really interested in doing things, that's about it, I don't like being stagnant, or unproductive, productivity, and moving about are better for my soul.

I'd like to meet:

Friends, Filmmakers, Friendly Filmmakers, Fans of Films. Well, Pretty Much Anyone

Music:

I love music, I think it's a medium that can have alot of importance, and impact on a person. I also think most music is fucking crap. If I am a snob it is about two things, music and movies. My musical tastes range from bands such as Tool (perhaps my favorite), to anything with Mike Patton (yes, I am a big Mike Patton fan), Death Cab, The Postal Service (Benjamin Gibbard has a beautiful voice), Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Talib Kweli (Black Star and Reflection Eternal w/ DJ Hi-Tek), A Tribe Called Quest, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Cream, The Who. Basically I like alot of different types of music, as long as it's quality fucking music.

Movies:

I love movies, that's kinda why I want to make them. I am into anything thought provoking, or unique, or well made, or all of that. The Big Lebowski is one of my favorite movies of all time; I'm not sure what that says about me. Blue Velvet, Ghostbusters, Fight Club, Down by Law, Ghost Dog (yes Ghost Dog), Austin Powers, Rushmore, The Royal Tenanbaums. Anything that impresses me. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-I have to mention it. So good.

Television:

Any Cartoon on Adult Swim, and, perhaps, any cartoon period. I try not to watch much more tv than that, but the damn thing keeps sucking me in...crap fucking box...

Books:

I'm not a huge reader, but am a fan of books like The Stranger, A Clockwork Orange, anything Noam Chomsky, or Nietzsche, Hunter S. Thompson-His papers, and short correspondences are some of the best, and inspirational pieces of writing, Dan Brown-The Da Vinci Code guy, James Baldwin-The Fire Next Time, Calvin and Hobbes, Berke Breathed-Bloom County Books-specifically Billy and the Boingers Bootleg.

Heroes:

Hmm...Anyone who's done anything impressive, and never thought twice about why, or wanted to be congratulated for it.
