When you you try and think about a song that makes you feel a certain way, most people will commonly resort to memories of lyrics and the mental pictures that stem from them. Even if its specific phrases or entire songs. Contrary to the more popular style of song writing, Jordan Honsinger writes music that is intended to evoke the same feelings without the use of lyrics but rather a melodic arangement of phrases and progressions that defy the standard radio-friendly music of today. At 22 years of age and having been playing and writing on guitar for 12 years he has continued to make music his way, in such a fashion that pleases his tastes and thoughts. Pushing through soundscapes similar to that of both past and present artists in the Progressive Rock genre, Jordan Honsinger aims to produce music that not only intesifies his direction musically but also challenge himself to produce new ideas and fresh arrangements that draw from varying styles ranging from jazz to metal.
