About Me

With musical influences ranging from the Bee Gees and Rush to Coldplay and INXS, and worship leader influences as Matt Redman , Paul Baloche and Paul Oakley, Bart Blair's music and worship style is really in a category of its own. It's not pop. It's not rock. It's not country. It's not folk. But it certainly has a hint of all these in it.

Bart is the worship leader at Grace Community Church in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Mississauga is a city of over 700,000 people where only a small fraction regularly attend a Bible teaching church. Grace Community Church is one that is intent on changing that statistic. With Bart's leadership in creative arts and multimedia, the church is on the cutting edge of connectivity to a culture that is consumed with being entertained.

"We want to change this city from the inside out. I truly believe that when this ME, ME, ME culture gets a real taste of Jesus' love and grace that it will be turned on its ear! This role in God's church excites me. I want my music to connect culturally. But I want the words (and truth) to penetrate the soul of the listener."

Bart hails from the great state of Texas where he grew up and attended the University of Texas. He is married and has three children.
