About Me

";

"Chasing Dreams”
Chasing dreams barefooted over broken glass
Closing a past peddling rapping rivers on a floating raft
This is my destiny.
All I ask is to save me place where ever the wind takes me.
Transform this gust into a thrust of good hope
Lunging me face first in the right direction.

The blurry reflections of a man attempting the impossible
Facing fears
Escaping years of grey skies
Changing state lines to follow in the footsteps of a sunset
Leaving behind the demise of greedy eyes and lies
Where he once met a lesser conception of himself.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"Pen to paper"
Inked thoughts conveyed on papyrus.
Organized with rhymes, puns and alliterations
Mere abbreviations to my experiences.
Crossed T's and dotted I's
Looped through cursive gestures.
Mixed emotions spill
Then conjure themselves between lines.
Fluent influences regurgitated from within
Over and over till my composure finds closure.
Soothe calm feelings
I digress,
And digest
Consuming monsoon amounts of markings
Then concluding with a perfect word.

“The Color of love”
You are the color of love
Dipped in caramel or coated with chocolate

You are the color of love
With uncontrollable Curves
That conquer the contours of your body.

Let “lush-us” lips lift the color of love because
Your un-canning presence is the result of Heaven’s
Artistic brush, through Rembrandt’s eyes.
The spectrum of your beauty accentuates
The Afro-centric swish in your hips and
Paint the windows to your soul with a hazel gaze.

You are the color of love.

"As I walk"
As I walk I see a man's plight and a womans fight
I see a wife, and a site that has seen too much
Through the eyes of a single parent.
As I walk it becomes more apparent
Why she cries at nite.
I bite my emotions as I walk by her soaked pillow
Brillow is her heart as I pass her by
As I walk I see spite, envy, and greed
Poverty, crime, crack viles, a trapped child
A dirty curb and a bum screaming to the early birds
I can smell the scent of death in the air
With the asphalt painting itself with chalk outlines
As I walk I listen the voice in my mind
Repeating "One foot in front of the other".
"One step at a time"
When I look out at the stagnant remains of what life should never be.
What I dont see is me because im blessed to walk.

Music:

"Eternal Sunshine"
An eternal sun shines
Down on a mortal mind.
A frozen son
Standing stiff in his shoes
At the hands of another
Holding a gun.
Point blank
The chosen one
Wrong time wrong place
Another mortal mind
Gone to waste.
Green with envy
Firm gripped anger
Mean and plenty
But as an eternal sun shines
Down at the click of the trigger
The gun seems to be empty.

Movies:

“City of lost angels”
Vivid imaginations,
Complacent thoughts
Soul searching
With clipped wings.
One lane highways
Rolling stones
Warmer winters,
No place to call home.

New state of mind
Changing perspectives
Unforgiving nights
With drunk lust.
Inkling moments
Misplaced memories
Confined figures
In a city of lost angels.

Television:

"Guns and Roses"
As another tomb closes
The gloom of roses blooming
Perfuming reality as time still continues
The pain subdued by scented petals
Seem to never hide the stench of sulfer
That was once there.
Hear the juxtaposition
From the collision of anger and danger
Trigguring metal to petals
Gashes to ashes
Lust to dust
And that which was once us
Is now u.
