I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a people person. I like something about almost everyone I meet. At the same time I am complex. When you ask me my opinion about someone I am gonna give you the whole truth about them as I see it. The good, and the bad. This leaves a lot of people confused.Intense is a word that people use to describe me a lot. My own father was taken aback with me recently in a conversation and said, "You are SO intense". Yep that would be a good way to describe me some of the time. I relish the times when I have put my intensity into accomplishing doing something positive, creative, or productive because it spawns a calmness and contentedness in me that is matchless.I suppose you could label me as immature (for my age) for my continued interests in things like art, punk, skateboarding, hip hop, and making music over making money/financial goals. But I am doing fine on that front. I don't think this world of dwindling resources will miss another person bent on buying as much stuff as possible before they die. Just to leave it behind rotting.I like do things at my own pace. My immature pursuits serve a purpose. I want to accomplish everything in life that I've always wanted to do, but was afraid to go after when I was younger. It helps me to grow as an individual.

My Interests

Top priorities in my life right now are: Family. Continuing my higher Education/Learning. Doing music with my band (finishing our fucking record). Also Exercise/Martial Arts. Fishing. Nature. Old punk records. Skateboarding.

I'd like to meet:

God.

Another thing I have no time for. Whatever I can borrow from a friend on D.V.D. Anything on National Geographic, Science/Nature shows. Samuri Jack. Family Guy is funny.

Books:

I've read thousands of books but lately don't have that much time. I read a lot of history (true life accounts of war), fantasy/adventure type stuff, as well as the "great classics". Fiction that has a philosophical/spiritual twist is always good. Narcisus and Goldmand for example. Or Siddartha. Of Mice and Men is great. Tom Sawyer/Huckelberry Finn. Some of the best reads ever were "The Dragon Bone Chair" by Tad Williams, the Tolkien Trilogy (I read it the first time when I was in the 6th grade). My current reads are "Conversations with Don Juan/A Separate Reality" by Carlos Castenadas. "Stupid White Men". And "The Book of Five Rings" by Miyamoto Mushashi. When things are going bad I fall back on reading sections of The Hagakure. Try it.

Heroes:

Be your own.

Something else that sucks about myspace....

The limited fields of response in the personal profile info section. If I had my way I'd put something like "astrology is horseshit" in the spot for my sign. Wayne would definitely put man-goat. Th...
