Too many to name. Lately I've gotten back into some classic rock. A lot of world sounds have been influencing me, and there is a few lighter genres that I've been exposed to that I am interested in exploring.
My favorate movie of late: 300The idea of one single battle that helped create the foundation of what we call western civilization is more than romantic... it evokes pride.Other then that, I've steered clear of a lot of film. Lately there is so much that is just an attempt to distract people with shiny objects and take their money. It may be entertaining to some, but it is a waste of time in my book.
I don't watch TV.
I am going to suggest you read one book for starters, "The Science of Good and Evil" by Michael Shermer. I've recently started reading "Emotional Intelligence" by David Goleman (but got interrupted by borrowing it to my brother). I've got Stephen King's "On Writing" going and another on writing style.
My stepdad Terry Annas, Ghandi and Buddha. There are others, but none quite as profound.
