I have a broad range of interests. Im a big reader, read at least a book a week and dont consider myself to be stupid.I always like to know whats going on in the world, whether it be politics, war etc etc. Recently went to my first protest march in manchester, it blew my mind with the energy and passion of the people. Definitely something im going to do again.I socialise a lot, usually in a different town or city every weekend with friends, drinking, dancing, meeting new people. It defines me as a person really, im always happiest when theres good music and good company.

My favourite band who i have worshipped for most of my teenage years is Marilyn Manson. Seen him live twice and seeing him again in December. He is possibly the only real icon in my life.Rather than write a list of all the bands i listen to, it might just be easier for you to see the bands i have seen live. I listen to a lot of older music, T-Rex, Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin. but anyhoo heres who i've seen in the flesh:marilyn manson, peaches, korn, system of a down, slipknot, slayer, nine inch nails, mastodon, stonesour, peaches, mohair, comic book heroes, VNV nation, PMT, hatebreed, lacuna coil, melt banana, dresden dolls, devotchka, blink 182, motion city soundtrack, flyleaf, forever never, whole lotta led, pink, Queenadreena, Apoptygma Berserk, evanescance, Buckcherry, spice girls (i was only young...) and many many more support bands and other bands that my memory has temporarily forgotten
I love film in general, did film studies at college and came out with an A. Which i am very proud of. My favourite director is Terry Gilliam (he did the animations in monty python) I love any film with a message, whether it be political, emotive or just a reflection of someones life. The best films are ones with the purest and most sincere characters
I've cut down a lot on the brain-drain-box that is television. For my sins i watch some soaps, other than that its only really documentaries and films that interest me
I'm a big reader, average a book a week. Favourite authors include Wilbur Smith, Douglas Adams, Joseph Heller, Augusten Burroughs. I could go on but i wont
I idolise Marilyn Manson, if its a good or a bad thing judge for yourselves. And anyone that goes against the norm, i enjoy people being brought out of their comfort zones and having to face something they are unfamiliar with. Whether it be an act, speech or song that goes against their religion or beliefs. I like to think that im open minded about most things and it infuriates me when people consider their opinion more important than others. Im not excluding myself from that category, as i am guilty of it also. But its how you react to that opposite belief that truly defines people and they are the people i respect.
