The band was formed in the distant year of 1993 under the name "Single guys" but with totally different crew. Stamat, Gogo, Kiro and Peter the band members at that time were playing etno-bebop . In the year 1995 they recorded their first demo called "10 ways to fuck a dusty woman with no legs in a chimney" but were not very successful. A year after, Gogo and Peter entered the military service and have never been seen again. The project was frozen for 3 years when in 1999 Stamat and Kiro got a new drummer Miro. The members remained loyal to the project until 2002 when Stamat got married and have never been seen again. Than Ivan came. He was playing the tuba at that time and the band changed its name to "sGAGs" which stands for Single guys and a girl in shorts and began playing etno-comedy. During the last days of 2004 came the next change. Miro and Kiro were arrested and sent to jail for child raping, granny beating and spreading the fascist ideas and have never been seen again. Than Tzetzo and Bassko (step brothers of Ivan) joined. The band changed its name to Rent-A-Car because Tzetzo worked in a comapny for car rentals and his boss was a nazi, so we wanted a name like Don't-Rent-A-Car or We'll-blow-your-brain-up-if-you-Rent-A-Car. Because of a sudden accident, Tzetzo's boss was no more, and because Bassko really enjoies going to the drive-through restaurant, Ivan thought it would be a good idea to rent a car, so we did. We are thankfull for the car rental companies because if we didn't had a car we wouldn't be able to go to drive throughs. SO we changed our name to Rent-A-Car.
