Here is information about my football career:
In high school I was a two-time All-State first-team member as well as receiving an honorable mention on the USA Today All-USA team. As a senior I recorded 111 tackles (59 solo), four sacks, 20 QB pressures, and four fumble recoveries for TDs.
I went to college at Oklahoma and I was a four-year performer and three-year starter. I played a variety of defensive positions, beginning in 1994 with reserve nose guard, recording 25 tackles (12 solo) to go along with a 1/2 sack and a pass defense. I saw action in 11 games in 1995, starting eight at RDT, and finished the season with 38 tackles (25 solo), a recovered fumble, and a pass defense. During the 1996 season, I started all 11 games (five at RDE, one at LDE and the final five games at LDT and recorded 51 tackles (33 solo). In my senior year, I started every game at RDT and posted 60 tackles (49 solo) and tied a school record with 14 sacks, resulting in 91 yards lost.
I spent 8 years in the NFL as a defensive tackle from 1998 to 2005. I began my career with the Baltimore Ravens and continued with the New Orleans Saints, Washington Redskins, New York Giants, and Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite injuries, I have played in 55 games over my career, including the 2000 NFC Wild Card and Divisional Playoff games for the Saints. My most extensive playing time came in 2001 when I appeared in all 16 games for the Saints.
