I have a background in English, Theatre (once had my own blackbox theatre, Serendipity), Humanities, Mental Health, and Natural Health. I am a Master Herbalist and trained Doula. I am currently finishing my undergraduate in Humanities and then onto my masters in liberal arts. WHOOO HOOOOO!!!!!! I am self diagnosed ADHD : ) I have a hyperkinetic mind that has many ideas in these bright brilliant colors. I cannot focus on one thing for too long.....I like to explore many different ideas all at once!!!! I make up words. I love words and definitions. I write, I sew, I heal, I hoop, I act, I play, I cook, I clean, and I am mom............ I make homemade goodies and sell on ebay and etsy. I make my own line of natural rememdies (mama's medicinals) and custom clothing; including pillows, tapestries, bags, patchwork pants and apron shirts for the little mama to the big mama. My fabric focus is hemp and organic cotton. I take my time with each piece. I have been altering clothes now for nearly twenty years. I learned to machine sew nine years ago and haven't stopped since. I spent three years taking in my fair share of Grateful Dead shows starting in 1990.....following them from place to place......had never been more free until now with my three beautiful amazing children. I dye with low impact dyes. All my Mamas Medicinals are as organic as possible and all natural. I pull 90% of my own oils. I love the wait for a good tincture!! I do not believe in vaccinations, antibiotics, or prescription drugs. I believe in an organic, non-toxic biodegradable existance, love your mother, love your neighbor, love your friends and family and first and foremost love your creator and mother earth!!!!!!! My Interests

I love to sew and boil my potions (make my rememdies). I love dancin in my living room with my kiddos. I love to cook with LOTS of garlic!!!!!! I love swimming all summer long. I love to camp and hike and see the wonders of the Creator. I love watching movies, especially obscure ones.

I love almost everything except gangsta rap and some country. My favorites are old jazz played on vinyl, the BEATLES, The GRATEFUL DEAD, Peter Gabriel, Ben Harper, Morcheeba, The Wailing Jennys, Portishead, Beastie Boys, De La Soul, Keller Williams, The Disco Bisquits, The One Eyed Show, Liz Phair......(she taught me how to play bass) strong vocal ladies like Etta, Ella, Janis, Jewel, Fiona, and Kt Tunstall and many many more. I am secretly a HUGE bluegrass gospel fan!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the stuff!!!!!!!

Movies:

My favs.......Venus Beauty Institute, Run Lola Run, American History X, The Dark Crystal, any Muppet Movie, any movie by Tim Burton, any Clive Barker film,City of the Lost Children!!!!!!!.....Pan's Labrynth, four brothers, the list goes on and on.....I LOVE WATCHING MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Television:

I love PBS and National Geographic!!!!

Books:

I love to read!!!!! and I barely have time for that : ) I love any book BUT I HATE ROMANCE NOVELS BLAH!!!!!!!!!.......except for Abalard and Heloise .......catholicism at it's absolute best!!!!

Heroes:

Maya Angelou, my midwives Pam and Kim, and any child that overcomes a near fatal illness!!!!!!!!!
